One potential idea I have for my animation project is focusing on a puppy who, through a series of curious misadventures, ends up consuming a substance/drug that leads to hallucinations, where he imagines a journey of fulfillment. The film will open with the puppy, getting into the substance. And after consuming the drug (perhaps edibles or mushrooms) left out from his owners, the puppies dream transforms into a vivid hallucination where his deepest desires spring to life. The animations explore scenes of him running, catching impossible balls, and eating all the things he’s not allowed to eat, but wishes he could. His imagination fuels each scene with humorous twists. Each scene will take on vibrant, exaggerated colors and shapes, portraying his distorted perception while underscoring the whimsy and danger of his adventure. Ultimately, the puppy wakes up from a nap like it never happened. The story would mix humor, fantasy, and caution, providing a whimsical yet grounded perspective on the dangers of unknown substances for dogs while maintaining a lighthearted tone. I think a fitting title for this would be "Paws and Effect"!
